Celebrate Halloween in Norcross at the BOOfest

It’s spooky, it’s scary, it’s Halloween! While there may be many events in Norcross that celebrate this haunting holiday, make sure you check out the BOOfest, near Valencia Park Apartments.Flickr

For one week, October 23 to October 31, you can enjoy some old-fashioned fun at Thrasher Park in Downtown Norcross. You can try your hand at bike decorating, enjoy the children’s costume parade, and listen to spooky story-telling.

What makes this event even more fun is that it combines traditional Halloween with the Mexican tradition of the Day of the Dead – enjoy the colorful celebration while learning about its history, and see how to make and then display your own handmade masks.

Traditional trick or treating takes place on October 31, but check dates to see when other events are taking place during BOOfest.

Halloween doesn’t have to be just scary - it can be loads of fun too. BOOfest combines the right amount of each to ensure fun and thrills for all. Admission is free.
